A life worth living means we are able to find purpose and fulfillment within ourselves and in our everyday life. Realizing that anything worth doing means taking a path that will involve struggle. As humans this struggle takes on the form in different ways whether it be physically, mentally, or spiritually.
My belief is that not enough people are willing to share the details of those struggles . Leaving a great deal of people including myself to think that a meaningful and prosperous life isn’t meant for them because what they struggle with isn’t a common issue.
This is where I shamelessly confess as one who endured certain struggles such as low self-esteem ,body dysmorphia, anxiety and panic attacks, sexual abuse as a young girl and teenager, growing up without a dad and being raised by a mother who had an alcohol addiction, a life without Christ and learning to live life as a Christian and now here I am nonetheless.
With broken pieces in hand I aim to bring light to the struggles I have suppressed out of fear that what I had struggled with wasn’t something meant to be shared. Only having learned that through one’s struggles a person can find blessings and healing not just for themselves, but for others as well.
I came to a point where the questions I asked like, Does my struggle have a purpose? Why did bad things happen to me? Why did God allow these things to happen to me? How can I ever fully heal and feel like the woman I was created to be? Will I be stuck with these wounds forever?
EverydaywithK is my personal blog where my goal is to help my readers recover emotionally, physically and spiritually, from past and present suffering by bringing enlightenment to my areas of struggle as a human and how choosing to work through them has given me the ability to be released from the darkness that once encompassed me emotionally and physically. Allowing me to discover a more meaningful and happy life.
